Absolutely no copying or otherwise reproducing this data in any format whatsoever without obtaining prior written permission.  We are sharing this information only to help our fellow CLINE researchers with their personal genealogy research efforts.
However, you may link to this page.

At this time, we are focusing our CLINE research only in the NC-TN-GA tri-state area.  We have reviewed the actual images at ancestry.com for each of our listings.  Although we are very familiar with old handwriting, there will most always be something that cannot be read.  We have noted these and included which ways they could be deciphered.

If you see a listing that we have missed, please let us know.  THANKS!!

Soundex Search Tip:  Searching on CLINE will not include those that spell it with a "K" such as KLINE.  Searches must be performed both ways to include spelling variations of CLINE and KLINE.

Notes:  # is the page number - not household number.
Notes:  Names in [brackets] are their neighbors on either side separated by a dash.
Notes:  1 Portions of Lincoln NC census were alphabetical, thus no neighbors are known.  Pages 376 forward appear to have an extra 0000 inserted but those pages do not have column headings.  We have reviewed the first image for Lincoln Co which has headings, but again those don't jive the pages 376 forward; so, it is unclear at this point what the extreme right column of numbers mean.
Notes:
2 Portions of Rowan NC census were alphabetical; thus, no neighbors are known.
Notes:  3 Stokes NC census was alphabetical; thus, no neighbors are known.
